Accounting

Staff Accountant
The Billtrust Staff Accountant’s primary responsibility is to coordinate and complete the billing process for all Billtrust customers.   This includes but is not limited to supporting the preparation for the income statement by preparing journal entries and analyzing expense variances.  The Staff Accountant will also respond to customer inquiries, assist in the documentation of internal controls and processes and assist in collecting customer payments.  

Senior Accountant
The Billtrust Senior Accountant’s primary responsibility is to assist in preparation of financial reports, account reconciliations, journal entries, and other reports, as required.


Client Operations

Relationship Manager

The Billtrust Relationship Manager’s primary responsibility is to engage strategic clients and build the relationship into a mutually beneficial and profitable partnership. The Relationship Manager will define, quantify and analyze relationships with strategic clients so that their success is not left up to chance. The Relationship Manager shall have regular contact with key clients and work directly with multiple clients to actively resolve concerns and accommodate reasonable requests. To be successful in this role, all client communication, both oral and written, with key stakeholders at strategic clients will be accurate and informative. Additionally, as the main point of contact for a client, the Relationship Manager will understand the client’s business and needs and will focus efforts on tasks that result in higher customer satisfaction and client retention.

PMO Manager
The PMO Manager will help drive Billtrust’s Project Management team and ensure success in day to day operational activities as well as project based work.  The PMO Manager will utilize leadership skills for performance management, career development, and staff mentoring.  The Manager will act as a liaison between the Project Management Office and other departments, therefore strong technical and soft skills will be key.   The PMO Manager will ensure deliverables are met and keep the work visible and on track.  To be successful in this role, the PMO Manager should be a hands-on resource who can not only track the work efforts but assist teams whenever need to ensure success.  In this role, the Manager should be able to act with the highest professionalism, exercise independent judgment and decision-making and weight the interests of the company and the client.


Human Resources

Corporate Trainer
The Billtrust Corporate Trainer will be responsible for the development and implementation of ongoing training programs for our internal bill processing platforms and software. This includes responsibility for onboarding new hires and training and development of internal teams with a focus on Client Services and as a training partner for Development, Quality Assurance, and Operations. The Corporate Trainer will create, conduct, and evaluate training workshops for internal Billtrust applications with the goal of Billtrust employees passing company specific certifications. He/she will create course guidelines, deliver training courses and build out a knowledgebase which includes supporting documentation. If you are passionate about employee development and training technology and have the skill for creating and presenting technical subject matter to a diverse audience, we encourage you to apply.

Instructional Designer
The Billtrust Instructional Designer will focus primarily on the development, implementation and marketing of eLearning training strategies through our Learning Management System, Billtrust University. This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to grow their career in instructional design or eLearning development to take ownership of Billtrust University’s eLearning experience. This position includes working closely with departmental subject matter experts to define the course objectives, assess learners’ needs, create course content, and consistently evaluate the success of the desired outcome. The Instructional Designer will be responsible for updating current eLearning courses as well as creating new courses based on company needs. This includes creating courses with simplified user navigation, screen/page template designs, script development with text, voice, sound, and graphics descriptions and instructions, and assessments to measure results.

Chief Information Officer (CIO)
Billtrust is seeking a Chief Information Officer (CIO) to partner with our senior leadership team to align our IT objectives with Billtrust’s mission to be the leader in the billing and payments industry.  

As a cloud-based/SaaS organization, we utilize bleeding edge web and code based technology within a fast-paced environment.   The CIO will report to our CEO and utilize relevant experience to provide leadership and direction to our expanding IT Team.   Using an active and practical approach, the CIO will ensure long term strategic success and cost effective IT operations.

Director, Information Assurance & Privacy
The Director of Information Assurance & Privacy will be responsible for establishing and maintaining an enterprise-wide information security and privacy program assuring information assets are stored and protected in a manner that meets and exceeds corporate, compliance and regulatory requirements.

This role oversees the creation and maintenance of information security policies, identifies and supports security initiatives, establishes governance programs, leads risk assessments, threat intelligence and status reporting. This position is responsible for managing risks relating to information security, privacy, technology and is inclusive of applications, infrastructure, process, data, training, architecture, design, development, testing, deployment, operations and is responsible for the continued build out of a world-class cyber security division.

This position serves as the process owner for all ongoing activities related to the availability, integrity and confidentiality of customers, business partners, employees and business information in compliance with the organization’s information security practices. These controls enable the business to operate efficiently, cost-effectively and remain compliant with industry best practices.

Senior Web Developer (PHP)

Billtrust is looking for an experienced full time Senior Web Developer to join our fast- growing web development team. In this position you will be responsible for architecting and implementing new features of our leading customer facing web applications. The successful candidate must have experience in web development with a focus on PHP technologies. Additionally, the Developer must be able to collaborate with other departments within the organization and actively provide direction to other team members.

Vice President, Quality Assurance
The Billtrust Vice-President, Quality Assurance will build and operate a comprehensive, top-notch Software Quality Assurance methodology. This includes implementing best practices and an overall quality vision for software testing and release management. This role is a vital component at the center of successful system delivery to Billtrust Customers. The QA program to be implemented should include a QA metrics program, as well as an effective organizational structure and a process improvement action plan to ensure a best in class QA operation.

Software Developer (Denver)
Billtrust is looking for an experienced full time Software Developer to join our fast-growing software development team. In this position you will be responsible for designing and implementing new features and supporting features in our software environment. The successful candidate must have experience with the Microsoft .Net development environment with a focus on C# development. Additionally the Developer must be able to collaborate with other departments and actively provide direction to other team members.

System Administrator
Play an active role in supporting and managing design, implementation management of our multi-platform Windows and Linux infrastructure. You will need to have demonstrated proficiency with web hosting including Windows IIS, AWS and Apache on Linux (LAMP); any VMware, cloud and SaaS experience will accelerate your impact.


Product Management

Product Manager

Billtrust is seeking a smart, experienced individual to work as a Product Manager in our B2B product line. You’ll work in conjunction with internal and external business partners to help define and document the product requirements needed to create world class billing to payment products. Once requirements are defined, you will continue to assist designing the detailed functionality and working with the technical leads charged with overseeing the development process through to implementation.

Our target customers include some of the largest US based corporations. As a Product Manager, you’ll quickly become an expert with Billtrust’s existing B2B solutions and our target market. The product manager will use that knowledge to facilitate the growth of our product suite. The job will be very demanding, and will offer the winning candidate a unique fast track career.

Regional Sales Executive - SaaS - East Coast (Atlanta)

Account Manager- Saas Inside Sales
Billtrust Account Managers help customers maximize the value they receive from our CompleteBilling Service. This involves three actions: helping the client take full advantage of the features they have already licensed, selling them optional modules and helping them increase their electronic billing and payment adoption rates. This is accomplished with a mix of onsite meetings, web demonstrations, phone calls, and emails. The results of these actions are continued improvements in three key customer metrics for Billtrust: satisfaction, revenue and electronic billing/payment adoption.

This position will focus exclusively on our B2B biller clients, with a mix of major and mid-sized customers across a region of approximately 15 states. This is not a technical customer service roll; it’s a sales role with a proactive focus on helping our customer get the most out of our constantly evolving CompleteBilling Service.

Senior Vice President, Business Development
Reporting to the Chief Revenue Officer, the SVP of Business Development is an executive who can identify potential deals and develop the tactics and teams needed to bring them to fruition. This executive must be a self-starter who is driven to help to create a world class business development tea. This executive will need to actively lead the business development function in an effective, aggressive manner. At the same time, this executive is also expected to be a contributor to the management of the company as a whole, as a member of the senior management team. For the right executive this is an opportunity to build on our early success in business development.
 


Marketing

Director Marketing- eAdoption
In this role, you will be leading our efforts in driving adoption and growth of electronic bill presentment and payments among our 1,100 clients and millions of bill recipients. You will be leading the creation and execution of marketing programs to drive increased eBilling and ePayment adoption.  You will lead a newly created team that will develop and execute programs in both the B2B and B2C markets.  You will also be our voice and content expert for electronic adoption.

We are looking for a strong leader that brings a flare for implementing creative programs with proven success at changing target audience behavior.  Ideal candidate will have experience marketing to small businesses along with an understanding of consumer marketing principals.  The candidate should have some of the following attributes:  experience in marketing to small businesses, experience in driving adoption programs within a financial services environment, agency experience, experience implementing large scale promotional programs, management experience.

Market Research Analyst
The Market Research Analyst is essential to accelerating Billtrust's growth within the company's core industry segments. The Analyst will work to gather research and uncover trends that can be transformed into educational content and campaigns that help to activate Billtrust's brand and generate demand within emerging and existing markets. This role requires a statistical mind that is able to gather and interpret diverse sets of data while also producing reports and providing recommendations that are for both internal and external stakeholders. Insights generated by the Market Research Analyst will guide Billtrust's growth strategies within emerging markets, support educational marketing campaigns, and influence the company's expansive product roadmap.

Marketing Coordinator
This role will build our user base by increasing customer enrollments and activation for one of our newest and fastest growing products – Invoice Central and Email Plus.

These services enable small and mid-size businesses to receive and pay bills electronically from several of their vendors, all in one convenient place. The Marketing Coordinator will first focus on developing and executing email marketing campaigns. In this role, you will work with our corporate clients to obtain their email lists and to motivate their customers to enroll for our services and then use the services as the preferred destination to view and pay bills.

This role requires strong analytical and organization skills, proven ability to manage and track several campaigns at once, experience with tools that track and measure email campaigns and web marketing programs. Email marketing experience a strong plus.
 


Operations

Inserter Operator/Laser Print Operator (Sacramento, CA)
Utilize your inserter operations or laser printing background in a fast-growing company. We are expanding our team during our third and possibly first shifts. The Inserter Operator/Laser Print Operator will be responsible for printing/processing invoices and statements on high speed laser printers and automated inserting equipment. He/She will also help prepare mail for entry into the USPS. This role requires a valid Driver's License with an ability and willingness to drive a company vehicle, when necessary.
