Marcel Korst is the head of marketing at Billtrust. With an innate passion for delivering value to customers, global experience and deep product marketing expertise for B2B SaaS, he is responsible for driving demand, strengthening Billtrust’s brand as the undisputed category leader and leading a world-class marketing team.
Marcel previously served as the head of marketing at Mattersight Corporation where he built the category for personality-based software applications. Prior to that, he spent 13 years at Microsoft where in his latest role he led marketing globally customer service and support division. He began his career pioneering performance-based digital marketing for B2B SaaS applications at IBM and start-ups.
Marcel has a Master’s in Business Communications from Radboud University Nijmegen, The Netherlands. He also attended several executive courses, including Kellogg School of Management for Marketing/Marketing Management. When not at work, Marcel spends time with his family, loves to travel and switched from playing field hockey to ice hockey when he moved to the U.S.
