Billtrust Adds Tech Veteran Jim Kanir to Executive Team

Jamesburg, NJ — June 16, 2011 — Billtrust, the leader in outsourced billing solutions, today announced that it has named Jim Kanir Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing. Kanir is a veteran C-level executive with a proven track record of success driving growth in technically-oriented companies. He has a special focus on leading fast-growth strategies.

The Billtrust management team selected Kanir to extend and accelerate the company’s high growth track. “Jim is a proven leader with 25 years of sales and marketing success,” said Billtrust CEO Flint Lane. “His expertise and leadership will be tremendous assets to Billtrust as we continue to broaden our market impact and take our company to the next level.” Kanir has served in executive roles with a variety of companies including: M5 Networks; Cohesia Corporation; Powerway, Inc.; and Unify Corporation.

Kanir is also Managing Partner at Vx Global Partners, a sales and marketing consultancy for venture-backed high-tech firms. He sits on the Board of Directors for SANpulse Technologies and is on the Advisory Board of the Northern Kentucky University’s College of Business Entrepreneurship Institute. “I am both honored and excited to assume this role at Billtrust.
