Billtrust CFO Anthony Vigorito Named New Jersey Technology Council’s 2012 CFO of the Year

Award by State’s Leading Technology Growth Organization Recognizes Vigorito’s “Hands-On Involvement” in Exponential Growth and Strategic Acquisitions

HAMILTON, NJ – June 14, 2012 – Billtrust, the premier provider of outsourced billing services, today announced that its Chief Financial Officer, Anthony Vigorito, has been named CFO of the Year for 2012 by the New Jersey Technology Council (NJTC).

The award, given to Vigorito by NJTC President and CEO Maxine Ballen at a special awards breakfast for NJTC members on June 8, recognizes the one New Jersey technology CFO who made the most outstanding contribution to his or her company’s performance and accomplishments in 2011. “The New Jersey Technology Council’s ‘CFO of the Year’ award recognizes the critical difference a Chief Financial Officer makes in the strength, viability and growth of technology companies,” said NJTC’s Ballen.

“Financial affairs are a challenge for any company—but they are particularly daunting for companies experiencing a high degree of growth. Anthony Vigorito displayed the exceptional skills necessary for success at Billtrust in 2011. We’re pleased to be able to recognize those efforts with this award.”

Vigorito, who oversees finance, accounting, operations and human resources, helped Billtrust accelerate its growth in 2011 through two key company acquisitions. The company’s municipality and utilities business was enhanced through the acquisition of Mark Altman & Associates, while the purchase of Invoice Connection was also strategic, enabling Billtrust to strengthen its presence in wholesale distribution. These moves, along with others made by Billtrust, enabled it to be selected as a Deloitte Technology Fast 500 Company and NJTC’s Growth Company of the Year.

“I am delighted that Anthony is being recognized for the contributions he has made to Billtrust. His financial vision, hands-on involvement in new customer acquisition, and leadership has helped move us to a new level in the market,” said Flint Lane, Billtrust CEO and President. The NJTC, a private, non-profit organization, is now in its 15th year of supporting technological companies, making New Jersey the “go-to state” for growth-oriented innovators. NJTC member companies enjoy access to networking, financing resources, publications and expertise, along with several valuable finance conferences throughout the year.
