Flint A. Lane
Chairman & CEO of Billtrust

Mr. Lane is the CEO and Founder of Billtrust. He has set the strategic direction of the company since its founding in 2001. Under his leadership, the company has enjoyed significant growth providing print and electronic outsourced billing services to companies throughout North America.

Billtrust has earned numerous awards from business organizations including the Deloitte Technology Fast 500™ and Inc. 500. In May of 2011 Mr. Lane was named as one of the 25 Most Influential Financial Operations Professionals by the Institute of Financial Operations (IFO). In June of 2011 he was recognized as the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur Of The Year®.
Prior to founding Billtrust, Mr. Lane was founder, President and Chairman of Paytrust, the leading electronic bill presentation and payment (EBPP) company with over 100,000 customers nationwide. He also held executive positions at Platinum Technology, Logic Works and BrownStone Solutions.

Mr. Lane currently serves on the board of the Council on Electronic Bill Payments and the New Jersey Technology Council. He is a volunteer big brother for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Mercer County and assists his local PTA with web projects. Mr. Lane received his Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.

Lawrence R. Irving
Chairman Billtrust Board Audit Committee

Mr. Irving brings more than 30 years of financial and management experience to the Billtrust Board and serves as Chairman of the Audit Committee and helps provide guidance on growth and financial strategies. In his most recent role he was Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer of Synchronoss Technologies, Inc (NASDAQ:SNCR) from 2001 until his retirement in 2014. At Synchronoss, Mr. Irving was responsible for all financial, legal, human resource, administration and investor relations and led its Initial Public Offering in 2006. Synchronoss has garnered many awards for its innovative technology platforms and business model. Prior to Synchronoss, Mr. Irving held Chief Financial Officer positions at several public and private companies including CommTech Corporation and Holmes Protection (formerly NASDAQ:HLMS). He is the recipient of several awards including the NJ Biz CFO of the Year and New Jersey Tech Council Hall of Fame Awards. Mr. Irving is currently the Chairman of the Board and Audit Committee of IntelePeer a leading provider of on-demand cloud based communications. He is a certified public accountant and a member of the New York Society of Certified Public Accountants and holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from Pace University.

Matt Harris
Managing Director at Bain Capital Ventures

Matt joined Bain Capital Ventures in 2012, to lead the NYC office and focus on business services companies, with a particular interest in financial services.  Most recently, Matt co-founded and ran Village Ventures, where he focused on the same sectors and invested in such companies as BlueTarp, Consumer United, Dwolla, iSend, On Deck Capital, Simple, TxVia and Zipmark.  Earlier in his career, Matt worked at Bain Capital in the private equity group.

Matt went to Williams College, graduating in 1994 with a degree in Political Economy. Matt was the Captain of the Williams College Rugby Club for his junior and senior year, which as you can imagine consumed nearly all of his spare time.

Outside of work, Matt is delighted to spend time with his wife, Jessica, and their two children. He is the Chairman of the Board of the Williamstown Theatre Festival, a regional theater associated with Williams College.  Matt is obsessed with military history, and some day will write a book connecting the strategy and tactics of insurgency with what he has learned about entrepreneurship.

Mark Miller
Chairman of DiscoverReady

Mark Miller brings extensive business leadership experience to the Billtrust board. Through 2014 he served as Chairman and CEO of Allconnect and Chairman of Appriss, the information services and SaaS company. Previously Mark was President and Chief Operating Officer of Equifax, a $3 billion global leader in information management, analytics and consumer solutions. Mark was also President and CEO of $1.8 billion Galileo International, which provides electronic global distribution services for the travel industry in over 140 countries. Mark also served as President and COO of Cendant Corporation’s Travel Division, which included the world’s largest hotel franchise with over 6,500 properties, as well as CEO of PHH Fleet Services, with over one million vehicles under management, and President of GE Capital Financial, a GE venture business specializing in corporate payment and management information systems. Mark also held senior sales management positions at American Express.

Companies led by Mark have received numerous information technology leadership awards including the ComputerWorld Smithsonian Award for data warehousing, Information Week’s “Top 100 E-Commerce Applications” award, and CIO Magazine’s Top 50/50 winner for Web-based execution and strategy. Mark also serves on the board of After-School All-Stars, DiscoverReady Corporation and NewComLink.

Chris Sugden
Managing Partner at Edison Partners

At Edison, Chris focuses on New Jersey- and New York City-based companies. He identifies and evaluates new investment opportunities and helps guide existing portfolio companies. He focuses on the financial services and ecommerce industries for Edison, as well. He regularly attends industry events focused on these sectors and often speaks on these industries at seminars and trade shows. Chris also sits on the boards of Incurrent Solutions and Satori Group.

Chris has served as executive vice president and CEO of Princeton eCom’s Electronic Billing Division. He also served as Princeton eCom’s EVP and CFO focusing on raising capital, finance and accounting, and strategy. The company successfully raised over $80 million in private equity during Chris’s tenure. In 2001, Princeton eCom was named the Internet, e-Business and Multimedia Company of the Year by the New Jersey Technology Council.

Prior to that, Chris was director of finance and operations for two magazine startups and internet businesses funded by Freedom Communications, Inc. For more than four years Chris was also part of the Entrepreneurial Services Group in the Boston office of PricewaterhouseCoopers (formerly Coopers & Lybrand). He is a Certified Public Accountant and a member of the Massachusetts Society of CPAs as well as the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. He earned a BA in Accounting from Michigan State University.

Stephen G. Waldis
Founder and Executive Chairman of Synchronoss Technologies, Inc.

Stephen Waldis is currently Founder and Chairman of Synchronoss Technologies (NASDAQ: SNCR). With over 20 years’ experience, Mr. Waldis has served in startup and senior executive management positions in both high technology and telecommunication companies. Mr. Waldis started his career at AT&T in various technical, product management and sales and marketing positions before moving to executive-level roles at technology start-ups.

Founded in 2000, Synchronoss has grown from a young New Jersey start-up into one of the most successful technology IPOs of 2007. Today, Synchronoss is the industry leader in Software as a Service in transaction management for a broad range of activation solutions and connected devices, serving the industry leaders around the world. Bob Farrell
CEO of GlobalTranz

Bob Farrell has 25+ years of experience leading high-growth companies that provide software solutions to increase efficiency and strengthen customer service, and has strong knowledge of the financial services and logistics sectors. He most recently was President and CEO of Kewill, a global leader in multimodal transportation management and supply chain execution solutions.

Prior to his tenure as CEO of GlobalTranz, Bob was President and CEO of Kewill, and headed EDGAR Online as President and CEO, steering the global leader in business reporting software, services, and data through its successful acquisition by RR Donnelley & Sons in August of 2012. Previously, as Chairman and CEO of Metastorm, he guided the leading provider of Business Process Management (BPM) enterprise software through its acquisition by Open Text in February of 2011.

Mr. Farrell is on the Board of Kitchen Brains, lending his expertise to a global leader in wireless M2M networking solutions and SaaS applications for the commercial kitchen/food service industry. He is also a Senior Advisor of Providence Equity focusing on the identification and management of investments in lower middle market technology-enabled service companies. In addition, he has sat on the Board of FolioDynamix, an award winning SaaS provider of investment management programs and wealth management platform solutions for financial services organizations, supporting it through its acquisition by Actua in November of 2014. He has also served on the board of I.D. Systems, a publicly traded leading provider of wireless solutions.
