Billtrust Summit Recap Series | Part 4
Celebrating Our Customers at Billtrust Summit
One of our favorite parts of every Billtrust Summit is the opportunity to hear from some of our fantastic customers about how Billtrust is helping transform their order-to-cash-process (O2C0.
We kicked things off this year with a Customer Insight session with Billtrust President, Steve Pinado and Mithat Sancar, Vice President of Order to Invoice at Iron Mountain. As the global leader for storage and information management services — working with 225,000 organizations around the world — the order-to-cash (O2C) process for Iron Mountain presents a lot of challenges that the company must surmount. Steve and Mithat took the opportunity to share with the audience how the Iron Mountain and Billtrust relationship successfully works.
Mithat walked us through the journey that our relationship has taken since it began in 2012, before diving into some of the highlights from 2018. Last year, with the help of Billtrust, the company converted over one million documents electronically and increased their electronic invoices to 67% of their total invoice quantity. They also increased their electronic delivery of invoices amongst acquired customers to 95% and saw steady rise in the amount of automated delivery of invoices by quantity and value.
Shining the spotlight on the customers doing amazing work with our solutions is one of our favorite aspects of Summit. This year was no exception, and we were thrilled to co-present with a number of customers during breakout sessions as well as award many of our customers who continue to push to improve their payments process. Here’s a roundup of this year’s award winners:
Rockstar of the Year – Iron Mountain
Best Integrated Order-to-Cash Process – Gregory Poole
Highest eAdoption Growth – Miller International
Cash Application Automation – Uline
Power of the Community – thyssenkrupp
Customer Connection – CooperVision
Decade of Honor – Acknowledged the 20+ attendees that have been with us 10+ years
Steve Pinado also had the chance to sit down with customers from GE Healthcare, GlobalTranz and H&E Equipment Services, Inc. during a fireside chat session. The conversation covered everything from how these companies are investing in their A/R processes, how advances on the accounts payable (AP) side of things have impacted them and what success looks like for their organizations. If one thing was clear, there is a definite increase across the board in the priority that optimizing AR processes is taking inside organizations. This, of course, is something we are delighted to see.
We’d be remiss not to touch on our customer appreciation party, as well, where we did a second line parade from the conference site at the InterContinental Hotel to the Fillmore, where Win Butler, front man of Grammy Award-winning band, Arcade Fire, DJ’ed the party to make the night even more special! As you can see, it was an awesome time, and we wouldn’t have it any other way when taking the time to give back to our customers.
Here’s to our amazing customers. We hope to see you all — and many more — again next year! Tune in again next week for our final installment of the Post Summit 2019 blog series. See you then.
