Employee Spotlight – Jennifer Garcia
Jennifer is one of the Billing and Payment Mangers for our Customer Support team here at Billtrust. She facilitates solutions for customers in real-time such as navigating our product platforms and getting answers to customer questions from Billtrust experts. But there is more to Jennifer than helping customers. Jennifer enjoys spending time with her family, going to the beach, cooking/baking, and listening to bands like The Eagles, The Beatles, and Tom Petty. Jennifer took a few minutes to give us a better insight into what makes her Jennifer.
What is your favorite hobby outside of work and why?
Arts and Crafts. I think that having small children sort of made this my default hobby.
If you could eat one meal every day for a year, what would it be and why?
A bacon, egg and cheese sandwich. I love breakfast food!
What is your favorite vacation destination and why?
I grew up by near Long Branch, so anywhere warm that includes a beach and my family.
Who is one of your heroes?
My Grandmother. I have never met someone that worked and still works as hard as she does. At 86, she is retired but still works 3 days a week at Riverview Medical Center helping her old department out.
Who is your favorite band or musical group and why?
The Eagles, The Beatles, Tom Petty, Chris Stapleton…. The list can go on and on, I do not have just one!
What is your favorite part of your job?
In Customer Support you really engage with many different departments. I think building relationships, internally across departments and externally with our customers may be my favorite part of my job.
As a child, what did you want your adult profession to be?
A photographer. I always found a fascination in capturing a moment and then being able to relive it when looking at the picture years later.
What is something “interesting” about you that not everyone at the office might know?
I went to Cosmetology School and worked in a Salon for almost 3 years. To this day, I still use this trade to cut and color my family’s hair.
