Cintas Saves $1M Transforming Payment Operations with Billtrust

By integrating Billtrust’s accounts receivable automation software with their ERP system, Cintas saves over $1 million annually and recognizes productivity gains equivalent to 14 people. We were saving about $1 million every year in overall costs through the reduction of bank fees and improved processes. At the end of the day, when you can process 20 payments an hour versus 45 payments an hour, that efficiency gain translates all the way back down to head count.

Cinta’s efficiency gains were readily apparent in their credit card processing team, which had been steadily increasing over the years through both organic growth and acquisitions.

We had started with just two individuals. We were increasing all the way up to 16, and just implementing Billtrust allowed us to reduce from 16 people to just two. Plus, we have tripled our accounts receivable volume. Since then, we’ve not had to increase head count with this solution.
