How does invoice delivery through the B2B payments network work?

Billtrust formats each invoice to match the receiving AP portal’s specific requirements, including data fields, file type, schema. Then it delivers the invoice to the AP portal automatically. Delivery status updates (submitted, approved, rejected, scheduled for payment) flow back into a Billtrust dashboard. Rejections include reason codes and can be remediated and resubmitted automatically.
